[edit] Factional Differences

The Specter is a well-rounded and capable T2 Gunship. While it does not possess the same capacity to inflict additional damage to clustered units as the Renegade does, and cannot carry units as the Stinger can, the Specter's quad-barreled pulse laser fires rapidly, can can quickly mow down T1 units with ease, while providing useful close fire support in T2 and even into T3, until the superior Restorer can be built.
