The Cybran T2 Mobile AA Flak Artillery, nicknamed the Banger, is a Cybran unit. This is an anti-air unit.
It has the same DPS as both the Seraphim Iashavoh and the Aeon Ascendant Anti-Air Units, but is slower and can not hover - making it almost strictly worse, as it has both the same health and cost as the other two without the versatility. However, the Banger has more projectile damage then the Ascendant, leading to a lower rate of fire. With the blast radius, this means that more often a smaller area will receive more concentrated fire than when compared to either the Aeon or the Seraphim units. This can be both a blessing and a curse, but typically (due to it having the same DPS) leads to very little difference in an actual game, which is why the other factions' solutions tend to be viewed as better. However, it is commonly agreed that the Forward-pointing guns of the Banger are superior to the rear-pointing guns of the Sky Boxer in engaging most air units.
Trivia
The Banger bears a suspicious reseblance to the GDI Slingshot, from Command and Conquer: Kane's Wrath (Expansion Pack), released AFTER SupCom and FA, this leads to speculation that the Slingshot was "inspired" by the Banger.
