The UEF T2 Mobile Missile Launcher, nicknamed the Flapjack, is a UEF unit. This is a tactical missile launcher.
The Flapjack is armed with a Long Range Cruise Missile. It possesses high damage and long range.
The Flapjack is a weaker mobile missile launcher than the Viper due to its lower HP, lower rate of fire, lower overall damage per second, and low top speed, but the Flapjack does have higher initial shot damage than both other MMLs and is more accurate than the Evensong. Altogether, the Flapjack is the average among the MMLs.
The Flapjack outranges Tier 2 defense systems, and is a useful addition to any land assault force. It is able to strike outside of its viewing range, so spotting or radar coverage greatly increases its effectiveness. The missiles themselves have a homing capability, ensuring devastating strikes on inbound targets when used defensively. Since the flapjack is capable of firing on the move, a solid defensive strategy is to have them set on a patrol path along the base perimeter, making them hard to hit by bombers and artillery.
Tier 2 missile launchers in large groups are very potent commander killers if your opponent leaves his ACU on the front lines.
The homing capability was removed in Forged Alliance.
