The UEF T3 Battleship, or the Summit Class, is the UEF battleship which also serves as an anti-air unit and a tactical missile defense unit.
The Summit Class is equipped with three triple barrel Gauss Cannon Turrets (9 total barrels), four double barreled Linked Railguns, and two Phalanx Anti Missile TMDs. It is very large and has very high HP. Due to it's high reload time (low ROF) and high damage it is best to use the Summit to attack other large naval units or experimental units. Anything smaller can avoid the cannons during the long reload cycle.
The Summit Class is extremely powerful and can bombard targets on the shore from a great distance. Sending two or three of these close to an enemy base can cripple it substantially and open the way for invasion, or possibly destroy the whole thing.
Even though the Summit Class is very powerful, it is very unwise to send it out alone, as it is completely unequipped to engage Submarines. Also bear in mind despite having 4 Linked Railguns, it has very weak AA,making it vulnerable to air units- so escort it with cruisers.
See the battleship article for details on factional differences.
